Well, I don't have any pictures to upload at this moment because I am at work, but hopefully you will all see some pictures soon.
Starting with Thanksgiving...This year we spent it in Colorado with Lance's family and my friend Tailee from Hawaii came with us. We started Thanksgiving weekend with dinner at Lance's sister's house, Devo. Then on Friday, we went to visit some of Lance's Dad's Family, which was great to meet some more family. By Saturday, it was party day, or should I say our neices wedding, Breezy. That was a lot of fun! The night started at five o'clock and I think by the time we hit the sack it was 2AM. That whole weekend we stayed with Lance's friends Justin and Rachel, Roger and Asik-The two dogs. It was nice to stay with them. We watch movies and played lot of on WII while we stayed there. Oh yeah, I all most forgot we had a delay in our travels on getting back home. There was a bad snow storm Saturday night which made roads close and really slick roads. Of course, the roads we needed to go on where closed, but we made it home safe and that is all that matters. I will have to say that Austyn is a really good traveler when going on 10 hour trips and she was a trooper that whole weekend she managed to awake through Breezy and Eli's wedding and reception.
Starting with Christmas...Well, we started a Christmas a day early this year because my brother had to go back to work, so we opened presents from them and them from us on Christmas Eve. One tradition that we do every year is allow the children to open one gift, which is always Pajamas. Oh my...Austyn is growing fast. She has monkey arms. We bought pajamas, which we thought were her size, but in the arms are just to short. Well, we finally got everyone to bed and Christmas day started at 8AM opening presents. My parents stayed the night at our house so they did not have to spend Christmas alone. We were also glad that Lance's work ended up canceling work that day because of closed roads. So, we did not have to wait to open presents until 8PM. It was a great day of relaxing, making food, and watching T.V. that whole weekend. Austyn got a new bed, a new Tinkerbell quilt that Nana and Mommy made her, Shrek the Halls movie from Grandma Gloria and Grandpa Darrell along with some clothes from them, which were greatly appreciate sense she has almost growin out of all the rest of her clothes. She also got puzzles, more clothes, a hot chocolate maker, a mug, more polly pocket stuff, pet shop toys, a mirror, and games.
Finally, to end the Holiday break...New Years Eve was Lance staying up all night, me going to bed at ten, and Austyn stayed the night at Nana and Papa's house. Happy New Year to all!
